A way of life

Today while checking my personal mail on Yahoo there I saw a Saina Nehwal’s photo with endorsing a watch company. After reading through the full ad it came to my mind that if you really can capture the world you can go places. At least once in life time that you should go to a level where everybody will say Yes Sir. And then what ever you say becomes news. It’s not only sports it can be said in any discipline whether you are in office at any level.

Everyone likes that his salary should be more someone like his friends or some relatives. Whether the salary is a lakh per month or a lakh per year everyone needs more and more but for more you need to do hard work more and more whether you are playing any sports or you are working in any office. If its sports then you really need to sweat yourself out. Like I mentioned in the first paragraph I mentioned about SAINA who has worked hard to reach a level where she has become the hot favorites for the brand. The big brands are now paying her anything she says and she is getting the fruit of what she has laid from the beginning of her life as childhood. She must have been playing and practicing badminton while others have been watching movies or going on a vacation. In India there is hardly anyone pays so much of attention in getting the idea of making any sport a career. Even in cricket there are very few people who encourage their child to make cricket a career leave alone badminton, lawn tennis or for that matter athletics. No parents says OK beta why don’t you make a career in sports like cricket, football, hockey, badminton etc., today a few parents have started asking or rather allowing their children to go on for making cricket as their career but not in any other field of sport. Every parents asks their children beta you have to become an engineer, you have to be a doctor besides that there’s no other career option. Today there’s another option after you graduate i.e. do an MBA. If you have not done an MBA it’s like the children are a curse  on them.

These days there’s an ad running in the TV in which it says that why not we give marks on sports. Whichever sports a student chooses he/she has to score a minimum marks in order to graduate to the next class, either std 3 to 4 or in the boards in which the sports you have selected should also clear by a min of 80% then only he/she will get admission in the his/her college and will get his/her required subjects.

Ultimately, point is that whether sport should be made as a paper in the school exams…

THE WALL

The wall as we know him in the field of cricket. The wall called by all his fans, critics and above all by all his team mates and also senior cricketers. His name is Rahul Sharad Dravid. He was born in the state of Madhya Pradesh in the city of Indore in the year 1973 the 11^th January. Very few know that he is also called Jammy by his friends.

Popularly hailed as "The Wall", Dravid is known for his ability to bat for a long period of time.  He is the first and only batsman to score a century in all ten Test playing nations.

Dravid started playing cricket at the age of 12, and represented the state at the under-15, under-17 and under-19 level.Rahul's talents were first spotted by former cricketer Keki Tarapore who was coaching at a summer coaching camp at the Chinnaswamy stadium He went on to score a century on debut for his school team.Along with the batting, he was keeping wickets. However, he later stopped keeping wickets on advice from former Test players Gundappa Vishwanath, Roger Binny, Brijesh Patel and Tarapore. He was planning to get inducted in the Indian team as a wicket keeper.

Dravid had a disappointing start to his career making his debut in one dyaers against Srilankan cricket team in the Singer Cup in Singapore immediately after World Cup in March 1996, replacing Vinod Kambli. Subsequently, he was dropped from the team, until he was picked again for the tour of England.

Dravid was top scorer in the 7th World cup(1999), scoring 461 runs. He is the only Indian to score two back to back centuries at the World Cup. He scored 110 vs Kenya and followed it with a masterly 145 against Sri Lanka in Taunton, in a match where he kept wickets.

In 2003–2004 season, Dravid scored three double centuries, one each against New Zealand, Australia and Pakistan. Against Australia at Adelaide in second match of the four match series, the batting pair of Dravid and VVS Laxman proved to be Australia's nemesis again.  Laxman was dismissed for 148 while Dravid went on make 233. Dravid scored 619 runs in that four-match series against Australia at an average of 103.16 and won the man of the series award. 

In 2004, Dravid was awarded the Padma Shri by the government of India. On 7 September 2004, he was awarded the inaugural player of the year award and the test player of the year by the ICC. Again today he proved that he is the wall. And what Rahul Dravid is India's Man of the Series for 461 runs throughout the four matches…

I guess he should play for the another 2-3 yrs of test cricket and junior should learn from him his temperament...

Reservation ya Arakshan

किस हद तक सही है कॉलेज में आरक्षण. आरक्षण होना चाहिए या नहीं और अगर होना चाहिए तो उसकी क्या मापदंड होनी चाहिए. जातिवाद या फिर आरक्षण उन्हें मिलनी चाहिए जो काबिल तो पढाई में पर उस पढाई के लिए जो हमारे कॉलेज ने बड़ी बड़ी फीस लेते है उसे दे पाने सक्षम नहीं है उन्हें आरक्षण मिलनी चाहिए. आज कल तो हमारे अगल बगल ऐसे लोग रहते हैं जो अगर जातिवाद के हिसाब से देखें तो आप उनके साथ बैठ नहीं सकते लेकिन उनके पास भी वो सारी आराम की चीज़ें है जो आज एक जेनरल कैतेगोरी में आने वाले लोग भी सोचते है दो बार खरीदने के लिए. और इनकी फॅमिली के बच्चे को आरक्षण मिलता है ये कहाँ का इन्साफ है. आरक्षण से हम मना नहीं करते लेकिन आरक्षण का आधार जातिवाद हो इससे हम सहमत नहीं है. आरक्षण का आधार होना चाहिए जो फीस दे पाने में सक्षम न हो. और इस्पे हमारी गवर्नमेंट को म्हणत करनी चाहिए और इस्पे रूल्स बनाने चाहिए. लेकिन हमारे राजनेता तो बस अपनी रोटी सकने में लगे रहते है चाहे वो कांग्रेस हो या फिर कोई और पोलिटिकल पार्टी सब को बस क्या करें की हमें वोट मिले बस उसी बेसिस पर काम करती हैं. अब देखिये आरक्षण मूवी को लेकर बवाल मचा दिया, जनता देखे की हम उनके हित में काम कर रहे है. मिनोरिटी में कोई भी जात हो चाहे वो मुस्लिम ही क्यूँ न हो सभी को इस्तेमाल किया गया है. अब देखिये हज यात्रा के लिए मुस्लिमो को रियात दी जाती है और हिन्दूओ से टैक्स वसूला जाता है अगर आपको अमरनाथ की यात्रा पर जाना हो तो. या कहाँ का इन्साफ है आप रियात दें पर उन्हें जिनको सही मैंने में ज़रूरत है. न की पोलिटिक्स के नाम पर वोट बैंक बढाने के लिए. आज कल जनता काफी समझदार हो गई है इसका उदहारण आप बिहार और बंगाल में देख चुके है और अब ये उत्तर प्रदेश और दिल्ली में होने वाला है न ही शिला जी रहींगी न ही बेहेन जी रहींगी गद्दी पर...

Country or Club

Gautam Gambhir is not fit because of his shoulder injury. He is not going for the West Indies tour but played for the IPL. Everybody is saying why he played for the club & not playing for the country. Is it the money nowadays that player is playing and are not patriotic. There is not patriotism amongst the younger player these days. Sunil gavaskar said that its very unfortunate these days player gives more value to money than for playing for country. ON the contrary to it Kapil Dev said that it is good that player follow that their mind asks them to do. Why is it that people are commenting on any player not going or playing for India? Why no one raised their voice when Sachin did not played the T-20 world cup but after a fortnight played for the IPL. Does Sachin need more money or he is saving for his future. When nobody questions Sachin why he did not played for the country then why one should question other player. Where was Mr.Gavaskar at that time or where were the channels who are now asking questions or making noises about whether a player should prefer his country or club.

It is not that I have a soft corner for Gambhir or younger player but all rules should be same for each and every player whether it’s Sachin or Gambhir or for that matter any player. Even the media should understand this and should not question just for questioning or creating something just for the sake of getting a news which increases its TRP…

Confidence betrayed

There was this man named Roger who was living very well, a happy life along with his wife and a daughter. The daughter was almost 14 yrs of age named Susan. His wife Anna was very beautiful and had fab figure. She was into interior designing. Roger himself was a musical plays director. One fine day on his way back home, hurrying up by buying gifts for his wife, the gift was a real sexy night dress, along with the a beautiful tulips. His wife didn’t go to work that day and was really preparing for the celebration for the day with just two of them as it was there anniversary. Susan was also out for party at one her friend’s house. While coming back home Roger after buying all the gifts and flowers at the railway metro station while coming out he was buying a candy which was Anna’s favorite. There he found a beautiful puppy that on seeing Roger started behaving as if he is his master from a long time. Then the puppy was not at all in the mood to leave Roger. He asked a few people on the station but nobody was ready to keep the puppy with them. Finally, he decided to take it home as he was also getting late for their anniversary celebration.  He reached home and kept the puppy in a small wooden room made at just adjacent to his house in the backyard. And then there was celebration but when Roger and Anna went to bed and just started making love, there this puppy entered their room and after a few moments moving here and there he found the Anna’s leg reachable and started licking. She got frightened and woke up to see the puppy and started shouting but Roger got up picked the puppy and took him back to the wooden dock and locked him up. In the morning while going to office puppy got along with him to the railway station.

It went on and on till Roger’s daughter grew up, she got married. Roger and his wife Anna grew old and celebrated their 50^th marriage anniversary. One fine day while coming back from work Roger suddenly fell down and it was his puppy that they have named Alibiri because of whom atleast Roger went to the hospital. But sadly, he cannot be saved. Everybody got the shocked but what Alibiri has felt it more than anybody. The day after Roger’s cremation still Alibiri kept going to the railway station during his time of arrival and after a few days he completely left his home but he still kept coming to the railway station on time in the evening. On searching he was found in the railway yard from where Alibri denied coming back to home. Anna also left the place as it would bring back the memory of their good old days. She went to leave with her daughter in another locality.

That everybody has known Alibiri as Roger’s pet they would give them now & then something to eat due to which Albiri lived a little longer. One fine day the Alibiri never woke once he slept in the night at the railway yard. That was the end of the loyalty, confidence that my master would come back………

Fuel price rise

Well well well, the petrol and diesel price have bee raised again. This time the kerosene and LPG have also been included. With kerosene price the ministry is ensuring that the BPL category and below BPL people should not have one time food also. How dare the BPL and the below BPL people are having one time food daily.

The secretary of the ministry said that some Rs.300 extra load for the 2 wheeler and the likes for other vehicles. How many liter does he or his family fills petrol or diesel in a month and does he know what is the no of LPG cylinder is used in his family and he pays for it.

Now, in one statement the finance minister says we see the inflation down to 8% from double digit in a couple of month and the next month EGoM agrees to price rise in fuels. How can by increasing the fuel prices he can bring down the inflation to single digit. For the last few months our finance minister has been contradicting his own statement. One fails to understand what he wants to do for the country.

Now, the transport industry has decided for increasing the freight rate. On whose shoulder will that increase will fall. Its very obvious it will be passed on the general public. Will he be able to control the prices of the essential commodities? Nowadays, there are no vegetables that cost less than Rs20- 25 a kilo. The increase in fuels i.e. petrol and diesel specially diesel through which all commodities are transported will keep the prices stable, it cannot be the prices of all commodities are bound to rise. The BJP government had fallen due to the rise in Onion prices, now is it not that the Mr. Pranab should step down if he is failing to control the prices, inflation.

Now all opposition party has decided to go for an all India strike, an all India strike means loss to the country to the tune of 1000’s of crores. Who is responsible for this the ruling party, the finance minister or us?
