Yesterday I visited a place called Jeypore. It’s in the
state of Orissa. No one can imagine such a beauty lies in the state of Orissa
till one visits the place. The splendid landscape, the beautiful mountains, the
water flowing down the hills. The water from the hill was really cold as if
taken out from the freeze of the refrigerator. There are 3 dams through which
the not only the city but also the other parts of Orissa also gets electricity.
There may be electricity cut in other parts of Orissa but that is not the case
in Jeypore here. If you go for morning walk you will feel the cold breeze that
crosses you like making you shiver. It’s the same case when you travel in the
late evening after seven o’ clock.
Yesterday while coming back from the work I was feeling the
need to wear a pullover. But the people staying at Jeypore don’t feel the cold.
There idea of this much cold is getting romantic and making love. The maximum
temperature even in the month of May-June is 34*c where as the minimum drops to
3-4*c in the month of Dec-Jan. This is the month of August that I am talking
about. If this is the feeling in the month of August one can imagine the
feeling, the temp. The breeze in the month of Oct-Nov will kill you in the
morning and in the evening. I am planning to visit the place in the month of
October again. It will be really awesome to be at this place called Jeypore.
The place called Jeypore if developed properly the govt can
earn splendidly vai tourism. But it’s not known what the govt is doing on this
aspect. The reason behind me telling this is that hardly any development is
seen in the area. As this time I have visited this place after a ling gap of
6-8 month.
