India in RIO 2016

Wow...India in Rio, switch on the TV and you had it, check out the newspaper you have full page cover.
It's 118 strong team from India, probably the best and the largest team ever sent to Olympics. Its beautiful to see girls in traditional saree and men in suit.with this strong team whats the no. of medal we will be able to gather. In the 2012 Olympics India's most successful Olympics in terms of total medal tally, having won a total of 6 medals (2 silver and 4 bronze), doubling the nation's previous record (3 medals at the 2008 Beijing Olympics). Two medals each were awarded to the athletes in shooting and wrestling.
2016 Rio do we have the team who can play it out as strongly as it appears in paper. By winning the gold in the 10 m Air Rifle event at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games,  Abhivnav Bindra became the first Indian to win an individual gold medal at the Olympic Games, can the same be repeated.
It was also India's first gold medal since 1980, when the Men's hockey team won the gold.

Deepika Kumari has made some exceptional achievement in the world arena, but yes the five ring arena score is zero which she needs to make it up in Rio 2016.

Similarly the hockey team for men and women aling with tennis and badminton are hopeful of getting medal for INDIA.

All the games have started and our team is playing good enough.
Jitu Rai had a disappointment and has ranked 8th after final standing with Vietnam taking the Gold followed by Brazil and China for silver and bronze respectively.

LET's HOPE TO WIN MORE MEDAL THAN 2012.

D' Company

Tomorrow what will be the playing eleven for the Indian team!!!
Actually who decides the playing eleven the captain or the selectors. Well as far as my knowledge goes selectors decides the 15-16 players and then the captain and coach decides regarding the playing eleven. Solely because it’s the captain who’s in the field and is facing the situation. But its India and the playing eleven gets decided by the selectors.
The two consecutive test loss to England which was presumed that India will sweep off the series, but the situation is that India is trailing 1-2. Who is to blame the captain or the player he got with whom he has to play. Its shear fault of the captain for the loss or it’s the team effort. Of course it’s a team effort but when the team wins captain of the team gets the credit at the same time the captain should also face the criticism positively as it was for our captain M S Dhoni. Now after losing two test continuously to England should the captain be made the escape goat or the full team should take responsibility and start positively for tomorrow at the same time the captain should also some faith in his player and talk to them if there’s any issue among the players.
MSD has made us proud has INDIA proud by winning the T-20 world cup, by winning the One day world cup. So, he should be marked as captain of shorter form well not at all as he has led Indian test team also to no. one test playing nation. All the three achievements that MSD has achieved is not attained by any INDIA captain during their tenure or for that matter any cricket team captain has achieved this feat.

So now the question is should he i.e. MSD be removed from captainship or he be given another chance, one can argue that enough is enough 2 continuous series loss is enough. MSD has performed or rather achieved great feat in One day cricket so he be remain as one day cricket captain and someone else be made the test team captain. Again question comes who besides MSD, Gambhir, V Sehwag or who else. Well I don’t find anyone other than these two fantastic cricket players with great cricketing brain. In my opinion like many other countries all format should have different captain!  This will also make these captains focus in a more destined manner.

Anyways it’s not us who will decide there’s BCCI to decide but the board should also listen to all the selectors and it should not be vetod by any position…

Raja back home

Karunanidhi has said that Raja will occupy the same space that he used to before going to Tihar jail.
Raja did only one thing good and that he has brought down the tarrif rate of mobile phone due to which today we can talk to anyone in India at 30p/min. Well now be prepared to move the other way round i.e. the tarrifs are schedule to go up as other essentials. The grounds are already prepared and its just a matter of time that it will announced slowly by all operator one by one...

India & 1983 Cricket world cup

The 1983 ICC Cricket World Cup (also known as Prudential World Cup) was the third edition of the ICC Cricket World Cuptournament. It was held from 9 June to 25 June 1983 in England and was won by India. Eight countries participated in the event. The preliminary matches were played in two groups of four teams each, and each country played the others in its group twice. The top two teams in each group qualified for the semi-finals.
The matches consisted of 60 overs per team and were played in traditional white clothing and with red balls. They were all played during the day.

The physical trophy won by the Indian cricket team was damaged during a violent rampage on the Indian cricket board's headquarters, allegedly carried out by members of the group Shiv SenaAccording to Shiv Sena Leaders, they were protesting against the entry of Pakistan Cricket Team in India after the Kargil War which brought the two nations to the brink of a major war

In the final, India lost the toss and were asked to bat first against a West Indies team that arguably boasted the world's best bowling attack. Only Kris Srikanth (38 from 57 balls) and Mohinder Amarnath (26 from 80 balls) put up any significant resistance as Roberts, Marshall, Joel Garner and Michael Holding ripped through the Indian batsmen, ably supported by Gomes. Surprising resistance by the tail allowed India to compile 183 (all out, 54.4 overs). Only three sixes were hit in the Indian innings, one from SriKkanth, one from [Sandeep Patil] (27 from 29 balls), and one from Madan Lal (17 from 27 balls). However, the Indian bowling exploited the weather and pitch conditions perfectly to bowl out the best batting lineup of the era for 140 from 52 overs in return, winning by 43 runs and completing one of the most stunning upsets in cricket history, defeating the previously invincible West Indies. Amarnath and Madan Lal (3-31) each took three wickets, and one memorable moment was the sight of Kapil Dev running a great distance (about 18-20 yards) to take a catch to dismiss Richards, the West Indies top scorer with 33 from 28 balls. Amarnath was the most economical bowler, conceding just 12 runs from his seven overs while taking 3 wickets, and was once again awarded the Man of the Match award for his all-round performance.  There was no 'Man of the Series' awarded in 1983.

Auto Expo likely launches 2012

Ashok Leyland has introduced India’s first 37-tonne haulage truck, the U-3723 H. The truck has a maximum payload capacity of 27-tonnes and with its contemporary U-Truck platform the truck is said to deliver superior performance, durability and best-in-class operational efficiency. The U-3723 H is best-suited for such applications like construction, Ready Mix Concrete, boom pumps and stone marble.

The U-3723 H comes with five axles in total - twin steerable front axles, two rear axles and a self-steerable pusher lift axle at the middle that enables the vehicle to carry higher loads, more efficiently. The auto-lift axle senses when the vehicle is running in an unloaded condition and will automatically lift the axle which translates into additional fuel saving.

Bad food good for weight loss

Seductive foods seem to lurk at every turn, especially when you're trying to lose weight. But many foods that have gotten a bad rap aren't so terrible after all. Learn which tempting treats can actually help you lose weight and keep it of...

When it comes to healthy eating, few foods have sparked as much debate as eggs. The latest research suggests an egg a day is safe and nutritious for most adults -- and if you eat that egg for breakfast, you'll boost your odds of losing weight. The reason: Eggs are packed with protein, which takes time to digest. Eating protein in the morning keeps your stomach full, so you eat less during the rest of the day

Rather than avoiding pasta when you're dieting, make the switch to whole grain and keep your portions small. Research suggests people who eat several servings of whole-grain foods per day are more likely to slim down and maintain healthy weights. According to one study, eating whole grains rather than refined grains can also help burn belly fat.

Nuts may be high in fat, but it's the good kind. And they are also rich in nutrients, protein, and fiber, which can help stabilize blood sugar. Sure, you'll get a few extra grams of fat from munching on a handful of nuts, but it's worth it if it helps you avoid reaching for cookies or other sweets. Even peanut butter can be a dieter's friend. Studies show small amounts of this favorite food can control hunger without causing weight gain.

Dieters often try to cut calories by nixing calcium-rich dairy foods, but some studies suggest this is a mistake. One theory is that the body burns more fat when it gets enough calcium, so eating low-fat cheese, yogurt, and milk may actually contribute to weight loss. Calcium supplements don't seem to yield the same benefits, so high-calcium diets may have other factors at work as well.

Coffee only falls in the "bad" category when you drink too much of it or mix in cream, sugar, or flavored syrups. If you drink it black, you get a metabolism boost without added fat and calories. Drink it skinny: Stir in skim milk for added calcium and vitamin D, and artificial sweetener or one teaspoon of sugar.

As one journalist put it, "6 cylinders, 24 valves and no common sense". Production lasted only from 1979 to 1982 because they were not popular. Oddly enough, good ones are now in high demand.
